We take turns to meet at each others house in the Woking/Guidlford area and sometimes in class at Needle and Thread in Horsell, Woking, Surrey.

In 2005 we put together a project an entered the Beadworkers Guild Challenge.
We didn’t win, but you can see the piece on the left. It was a great triumph and encompassed all skill levels.

Our next triumph was at
“The London Bead Show”
at Kempton Race Course.
In 2006 we worked together to make a huge display of beading for the bead show, which was great fun.....

So in 2007 we made an even bigger display for the bead show.

Now some of us are working on more 3D pieces and we have set ourselves several challenges, both by colour and theme for 2008.

“First Frost” beaded by the “Dragon Beaders” of Surrey, England

The base was a fiber-optic lamp which changed colour. The techniques used were:-
Peyote; Herringbone; Right Angle Weave; Knitting with wire and beads; Brick and Freestyle machine embroidery which also had beads worked into it.
